Here’s a workout you can do to get some sexy shoulders for New Years Eve. Check out the video above for a visual and explanation of the exercises. Enjoy!
1. Squat Thrust with Overhead Press
Grab two light weight dumbbells (5-8 lbs). Perform a squat reaching hands to the floor. Shoot your feet out to a plank. Jump your feet back into a squat, and stand up. At the top, lift your hands overhead. Repeat.
2. Jump Lunges with Side and Frontal Raises
Start in a lunge position with two dumbbells in your hands. From this position, lift both arms out to the side. Then jump and switch your legs. This time, lift your arms to the front. Continue alternating between the lateral and frontal raises.
3. Squat Jump with One Arm Row
If available, have an Olympic sized barbell laying on the ground. (If it is not available, a dumbbell will work as well!) Grab the barbell/dumbbell and perform a rear raise. Then put the barbell/dumbbell down on the ground, squat jump to the side, and perform the rear raise on the other side.
Perform each of these exercises for 8-12 reps. Repeat 3x. Repeat this workout 2-3x a week for maximum results.
