The Breakfast Challenge

One of the biggest food mistakes we make is we skip breakfast!

So, this week, we are challenging you to NOT skip breakfast with these healthy options to start your day off right!

The Breakfast Challenge

Option 1 – The Quick and Easy
½ cup blueberries
1 cup strawberries
½ avocado
1 hardboiled egg
½ piece whole grain bread
Total calories = 332
Option 2 – Warming Up
½ cup oatmeal
¼ cup blueberries
Pinch of brown sugar
1/8 cup skim milk
Calories – 248
Option 3 – Scramble It Up
1 egg white
1 egg (scrambled)
Mix in mushrooms, onions, peppers (red, green or yellow), and spinach
1/8 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup orange juice
Bowl of cantaloupe
Total calories – 378
Option 4 – Mexican Egg Wrap
1 Flour tortilla
1 egg
1 egg white (scrabbled)
1/8 cup chopped onions
1 Tbsp black bean and corn salsa (Paul Newmans is the best!)
1/8 cup Shredded cheese sharp cheddar
¼ cup black beans
1 cup Orange juice
1 cup cantaloupe
Total calories – 466
Option 5 - On-the-go
2 Aussie bites
1 orange cutie
Total calories - 300
